Bamboo Fabric: Stylish and Sustainable

In addition to bamboo fabric being much more environmentally friendly than cotton fabric, the beneficial qualities of the actual Bamboo plant also translate to its fabric form.

Bamboo's benefits include its antibacterial qualities, soft, shimmery hand, durability, great draping capabilities, and moisture-wicking properties. Even after processign bamboo pulp to fabric, the clothing that is made from it still maintains the antibacterial abilities of bamboo. Bamboo's moisture-wicking properties are due to the bamboo's ability to hold up to three times its weight in water. The fabric wicks away sweat from the wearer's skin and allow it to evaporate. Lastly, Bamboo's insulation abilities make the fabric warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
